After an incident at the Emmys the FCC overreacts and begins to censor anything and everything that may be viewed as unpleasant. So Peter gets the idea to start his own cable network dedicated to all...
Sick, twisted and politically incorrect, the animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues. Written by
Several times throughout the series, characters appear on game shows. But the versions of the game shows are outdated versions that no longer exist. Likewise, Peter appeared on Wheel of Fortune, which used its old "buy prizes after each round" format. See more »
Damn the toilet. It's made slaves of you all. It just sits there consuming other people's feces while contributing nothing of its own to society.

This is the most insulting thing I've ever seen... AND I LOVE IT!!! There are those who say this is a rip off of the simpsons... well, granted there are similarities BUT(!) I would say that Family Guy takes what the simpsons do and MAKE IT BETTER!!! I just about wet myself with laughter when Quagmire shoots the simpsons!!! XD I agree with animalfanatic that Brian and Stewie are an excellent pair! The "Road To" episodes are the ones I enjoy most. The most recent one to cross my path was Road to Berlin and I have to say - I laughed my arse off!!! The best line was from the scene in the German U-Boat When Stewie says to Mort Goldman "I swear to God I'll stuff you in a torpedo tube and crush you against the sea!". Some of the lines in this series are amongst the funniest and most ingenious ever written!!! Seth McFarlane has my eternal thanks for this wonderful series!! 10 OUT OF 10
