I used to love this movie when I was a kid; my mom rented the original french version in the late 80s, and my brother and I would go nuts over it every time she did, and recently I found it again. It was collecting dust on a video shelf, but I couldn't resist renting it. Man this movie is crap! In fact, the story is so inane and unfilmable, you expect Madonna to show up at some point for an obligatory cameo. Crap. But so entertaining. The songs (which the teacher randomly breaks into) are basically all the same melody, just at different speeds, before leading to the climactic church scene song, which is actually enjoyable. Anyways, this movie should be recognized as the crap cult classic that it could be. It's "Troll 2" bad. This is "Sleepaway Camp" for youngsters.
