Now, I'm a horror fan-boy too, but "Gorgon Video Magazine, Vol. 1" seems intended for a 13 year old. A way over animated Michael Berryman, looking more like he's auditioning for a gig at the WWF, hosts a series of cheap features & interviews but its adolescent take is cringe inducing. It has it's interesting moments, including a tour of the KNB studio, an amusing feature on Troma and interview with B movie vet Linnea Quigley, but for the most part yo can't help but feel embarrassed for everyone involved. Tack on few promos, some inept trailers and Wah La, ...kind of a rip off! Reason enough why this is the first and last chapter of Gorgon "video-magazine" saga.
