Downright silly ego-tripping porn
lor_18 December 2014
Porn actor/director David Christopher makes a fool of himself in FASHION DOLLS, a forgettable and forgotten '80s video set in the Big Apple's Fashion District.

He cast himself unconvincingly as a male model seeking employment from tough fashion exec Sharon Kane (think an unlikely combination of Anna Wintour and Gloria Leonard). Kane's executives all double as models (!) or vice versa, numbering beauties Jean Silver (yes, Long Jean Silver in her post-stump humping "straight" XXX career) and Candice (yes, Mistress Candice in a non-dominatrix role).

Novelty of the insipid plot line is that the gal execs are so taken with David (I seriously doubt that any viewer will be) that they want him to model a new line of male lingerie inspired by the (then) androgynous popularity of Boy George and Michael Jackson! (Seemed to have missed out on David Bowie.) Christopher even models a racy outifit in the video, presumably for comic relief..

This sorry excuse for a feature has the requisite amount of humping footage, featuring the principals plus Tasha Voux as Kane's sexy secretary, David's cornball sidekick/adviser/male chauvinist pig Joey Silvera, who gets off one cute line about (sic) "male mentalpause"; Sue Nero as Kane's sister who can't resist David's charms; Barbie Dahl for an impromptu gang-bang; Ron Jeremy as a major client who seems to have wandered in from another porno set; plus Taija Rae.

To make it all worse, Christopher's acting is really terrible, even for porn, and his line readings from a script he wrote himself have to be heard to be disbelieved. And this isn't even among his worst efforts (see my other upcoming reviews).
