Cowboy Bob's Appaloosa horse Freckles first appeared on January 7, 1970. It was soon replaced by a Palamino named Clyde, better known as Windjammer. Cowboy Bob's third horse was a retired Sheriff's mount named Perfection's Lassie; viewers renamed it Skye.
Viewers named his dog Tumbleweed.
Sourdough the Singing Biscuit was a puppet whose singing voice was probably provided by commercial albums that were sped-up to correspond with his high-pitched speaking voice.
WTTV, the Indianapolis station that broadcast "Chuckwagon Theater" from 1969-1989, does not have an archive of old shows.

The hitchin' post is waitin' 'round the bend.
My weary ride is comin' to an end.
Gonna stop and wrap myself around
The best rib-ticklin' in this town,
Where laughin' is in style.
I think I'm going to stop awhile and smile.
It's time for "Cowboy Bob's Corral."
Out where a pal is a pal.
We've got good times for you,
And lots of things to do.
So come along, my cowboy buckaroo-oo-oo-oo-oo!
