This is a story that deserves a better adaptation!, 5 December 2002
Author: Bill Persell (billntwrk@yahoo.com) from San Diego, California

First off, let me say that I am an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Navy and I am Caucasion. This movie glossed over the real Issues of the day. This is a story that demands too be told. Sadly, this particularly movie was not a good vehicle. The movie is filled with cliches and is transparent, on its face. For the love of God, Let Spike Lee takes this story and adapt it!
