The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Rated PG-13

We see a man and woman kiss and it cuts to the next morning in which there are some clothes on the floor and they are sleeping.

While spider-bots are going through apartments looking for the main character, a couple is seen in bed having sex. Nothing graphic.

Violence & Gore

Quick flashes of future murders are shown quite frequently near the beginning. In the most graphic, a man shoves scissors into a woman's chest, drawing blood; blood is also seen in the water of a bathtub. Other deaths include strangulations, drowning, and shooting (once with some blood pouring), but all of the murders are very brief and obscured.

The drowning is very graphic with lengthy shots of the woman's face underwater.

A man has his eyes replaced. A nasty-looking metal device holds his eyelids wide open, but the actual surgery is off-screen. We do, however, see a pair of bloody eyeballs in a bag a few times (they are shown for an extended period in one scene, as they are carried around to activate security scanners).

Two men shoot themselves bloodlessly in the torso on different occasions. One man gets shot in the chest and blood spreads all over his shirt before he's shot in the head off-screen.

A man with no eyes is shown (we see his empty eye sockets and some of the insides of his head, but the lighting is fairly dark).

One f-bomb is used. A few instances of "s**t", "damn" and "hell" are used. The word "laid" is briefly used once, in a sexual reference. At least one "Jesus Christ" is heard in a derogatory manner.

John is addicted to a futuristic drug called neuroin, which he takes from an inhaler in a couple scenes.

-The visions that the precognitives (psychic-like people) see are only of murder, and thus we see one vision where a woman is stabbed, and a man is stabbed and drowned in a bathtub. Another vision shows a woman being dragged to a lake and drowned. Neither is very graphic, but the camera angles and the scenery might disturb many viewers.

-A room is quiet and what is supposed to be a sedated person suddenly awakes and grabs a man. The music also goes from silent to a quick, loud noise to indicate the jump scene.

-A room is quiet, and no weapon is seen, but a loud gunshot is suddenly heard and we see a character shot by another character who pulled a gun out, but off-screen. The shot is a loud surprise to the audience.

-We see a pair of somewhat scary, bloody eyeballs for several times.

MPAA rating: Rated PG-13 for violence, brief language, some sexuality and drug content.
