at the time that I saw this movie, Mexico and the great majority of Mexicans were turning their backs to Mexican productions...However Valentin Trujillo continue working trying to improve his productions even with his limitations of financial aid... He did this movie, Un Hombre Violento, and other movies with a lot of heart, and little money... But where ever he is, as you may know, he died last May 4th, 2006.Other movies that I really recommend you to watch are, Perro Callejero 1 and 2, Ratas de la Ciudad, Rojo Amanecer and others...Un Hombre Violento tells the story of a young man and his little brother that live with their gambling addicted father, when in a horse race he wins to a bad loser, their father gets killed by this person. The young man, is not the typical, hero of a movie, in fact he is even scared when he encounters the killer of his father.... Well... Please see it and judge it yourself.
