not bad
18 November 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

the film "gangs" was pretty good. i saw today 11/18/05 in my d.a.r.e. class. it was really good. the story revolves around a man who just returned from the army. he was a gang member and was sentenced to either go to prison or fight for America, he chose fight for America. he comes back from the battlefield to attend a funeral for his father who recently died. he returns to find his 14 year old brother in a gang. now he tries to get his brother out while he still can. the film features a few fight scenes, the one where they try and beat up a kid who's brother was a gang member, though, was corny. the film definitely looks like it was shot like scarface (1983). overall i give it eight stars.
