The first Elvis Gratton, in 1985, was witty and funny. But this one is a collection of stupid jokes. Some Canadian federalists disliked this movie because it was making fun of the Canadian government and institutions. Some people from Québec who favor independence from Canada saw it as a great movie for their cause. I, being only a film lover, think it's stupid from beginning to end.
Sure, there's a few good jokes. But Falardeau tries to make them go forever. A scene is funny for 20-30 seconds but keeps going up for 5 minutes. So you have 30 seconds of fun and 4 and half minutes of yawns.
See the first one and definitely skip this one!
