Unusual Leading Actor
4 February 2010 | by (london) – See all my reviews

To me one of the interesting things about this series is the fact that it gives actors who normally played supporting roles the opportunity to be the lead actors. In this instance it is Eddie Byrne who appeared in countless crime dramas but rarely above the title. In this Wallace thriller he plays a crime journalist who is alerted by a late night call to a potential crime scene. He arrives at the scene of the crime where he is allowed to tramp around.Obviously no thought of soco in those far off days.It has to be said that this film has a fairly convoluted plot and you have to keep thinking of what might happen next.So a fairly average entry in the series.
