Yes, what can i say of "La Inocente"? It's one of the heights (better say one of the lowest points) of freaky mexican cinema. Well, there could be a lot more dumb movies, but, in this time we should give a great part of the credit to creepy Meche Carreño, this time she is a mental retarded, she has the mind of an inocent girl but, oh, no¡ how could i describe this...? this inocent and beautiful mind is trapped in a very and lubricious desirable body of a very well formed woman...uuuh! mmm¡ and, guess what, the workers that are building a house next of hers have noticed it while she is playing with his childish dolls at the yard, and, of course, this bad men plan how to attack a La Inocente when her mother and grandma (the inevitable Sara Garcìa)left the poor girl-woman alone in home. Time after, La Inocente and his surprised family noticed how her belly is beggining to grow up, and well the "tragedy" is only beginning...There was a time in the 70's when sordid fashion begin to grow up in mexican cinema, some films were greats, some, like this...well, there have to be seen to be believed, Meche Carreño, is without a doubt, the superstar of sordid and dull mexican cinema. His candid sex appeal is always thrown to the mud in almost of his films, and, well, if you have a very deviated taste, you could enjoy such terrible performances in very very bad pictures, as La Sangre enemiga o Durazo. I don't know how much stars give to this silly and horrible melodrama. Two stars of ten? No, one star is enough...(by the way, I love Meche Carreño...)
