This TV series was clever and witty! I loved the story and especially the great acting. I thought Kristofer Kent as "Cyril" was particularly riveting and I would liked to have seen him in more of the 13 episodes. The Vampire actors were also top notch. The adaptation was excellently done by Richard Nielsen and the special effects crew did a bang up job of making the flying scenes seem realistic. The camera work was also particularly well done. For example, there were many scenes that included animals that were particularly easy to watch. These scenes can tend to detract from the overall entertainment value but in this series that was not the case. I would highly recommend this series to anyone; children and adults alike.
