The original Broadway production of "Aspects of Love" opened on April 8, 1990 at the Broadhurst Theater, ran for 377 performances and was nominated for the 1988 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Book and Score. Kevin Colson received a nomination for the 1990 Tony Award for Supporting or Features Actor in a Musical for "Aspects of Love" for his role as George Dillingham.
