1989 flick 'Aakhri Gulam' is a typical 80's action flick. Everything is normal, usual 80's mas-ala. Aakhri Gulam anyway wasn't a huge money maker during its release, and that fact speaks about it all the way. The film is strictly average, routine 80's Hindi film.
Pluses: Mithun, Mithun, Mithun. His performance and screen presence work big time. Minus Mithun, there's nothing great in here. Sonam looks hot.
Minuses: Stale script, weak music. Anupam Kher, Raj Tilak, Anu Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Maushami Chatterjee deliver okay performances. Shakti Kapoor is unintentionally funny.
'Aakhri Gulam' is no bad movie, but nether great.
