not one of Mazzaropi's best, but had a special meaning...

This film has a special meaning for me, because one of the most important scenes took place in my parent's store in downtown São Paulo. I saw some of the scenes being filmed and will never forget it. Somehow the name of the store never showed up, they managed to film just bellow it. The reason was my parents and the producers had two different points of view: My parents thought since they were letting them use the store (which was closed on that day to the public)they should get credit for it. The producers thought they were doing them a big favor just by using the store. The story is a about a poor man, from the interior who comes to the big town and becomes a millionaire, by winning on a lottery. He goes with his woman to a sophisticated store (guess which) where they have an exclusive fashion show where all the women end up fighting. Most of the fun of the film is how the main character, the simple Isidoro (Mazzaropi) deals with the habits of the rich. Mazzaropi made many successful films, always playing the same type of guy
