Aadat Se Majboor Directed By Ambrish Sangal is A Romantic Drama. Script is Well Written . Screenplay is Good To Below Average. Editing is A Bit Let Down. Action is Less & Effective . Chemistry is Good Between Mithun & Ranjeeta.

Movie Starts With Joginder Singh(Amrish Puri) Who Murders Someone, Seen By Shankar. He Tries To Kill Him. Shankar Loses His Eye Sight. Dr.Verma(Om Shivpuri) Operates Him. Meanwhile Joginder Singh Damages Verma's Eyes And Makes Him Blind. He Has A Daughter Neetu. Neetu Likes Shankar. Dinanath Shashri(Madan Puri) A Devout Hindu is Father Of Shanker. He Along With His Son Move To Mumbai.

Now Shankar(Mithun Chakraborty) is A Tourist Guide. He is Kind Enough To Help Others. He Works For Agnihotri(Amrish Puri). Neetu(Ranjeeta) Loves Shankar. One Day Shankar Saves Salma(Rameshwari) From Goons. Shankar Asks Her To Change Her Name To Shanti & Stay With His Family.

Acting By Madan Puri & Ranjeeta is Better Than Most Of The Cast. Mithun is Fine. Rameshwari is a Poor Actress. Amrish Puri, Om Shivpuri Are Fine.

Music is Good By Usha Khanna. "Andar Ki Baat Hai" By Shailendra Singh is Best Of The Lot.

Remember the title song of this movie as kid playing on radio, in those days publicity of new movies was done on radio and it was fun listening it. I only remember Amin siyani as presenter others were good too but I don't remember their names.

Well watching this movie in 2021 can say compare to movies of that time ASM is ok not below average. Actors have done good job, picturisation is good, Two songs I remember were popular, amrish was unknown name that time. Will recommend one time watch if you want to go back to 80's cinema.
