Some shorts were better than others; Chalkzone was definately the best of the bunch, eventually getting its wonderful (and sadly, pretty short lived and underrated) show.
Other shorts were pretty bad; featuring some half-baked ideas, or relying too heavily in random wackiness without very little substance. But the overall series was nowhere as bad some negative reviews published here claim.
Still, I appreciate this animated anthology series as the place where one of my favorite series started; other shows that begun in Oh Yeah Cartoons were My Life as a Teenage Robot and The Fairly OddParents.
The short "Planet Kate" could have been a great series, or at least a mini-series, like Over the Garden Wall.
Uneven as it was, I still appreciate the variety of new ideas, something modern Nickelodeon won't dare to do, focusing only in Spongebob and The Loud House.
