Hotel Cæsar is a Norwegian soap opera that has been broadcast on TV 2 since 1998. The show consists of more than 2,700 episodes, making it the longest running drama in television in Scandinavia. The show revolves around life at a big city hotel in Oslo and offers the usual soap combination of love, betrayal, sex and intrigue. It's shown Monday-Thursday at 7.30 p.m. (reruns at 7 p.m.) and is watched by around 500 000 (50% of all people watching TV in that time), and is immensely popular with youngsters. Written by
