Hey now, even though I was never a metalhead in the 80's (or any other time) I have quite the nice collection of bad 80's big-hair evil Satanic backward-listening music horror movies(Hard Rock Zombies, Black Roses, Shock Em Dead, Trick or Treat, etc) so when I found THIS, I thought it would be a nice addition. Well, yes and no. The box certainly looks nice. The movie is another story though. It's cheesy, it's kinda amateurish, it's not remotely scary, but one thing it has down pat, no bones about it, it sucks. It's not without some vaguely redeeming moments, like a band watching as their "dancing girls" (wearing chains so they can't go anywhere) are butchered on stage as they obliviously play on, guess they thought it was part of the act? The missing head didn't clue anyone in? Anyway, seems like this here heavy metal singer dude wasn't very nice and killed a bunch of people so he fried in the electric chair. Or did he? This has quite the astounding twist to it, you'll be on the edge of your seat waiting to find out......or you'll be on the edge of your seat because you've fallen asleep and slid down.....probably the latter. Too bad I never developed an appreciation for metal music, I might have found SOMETHING in this to like.
