Incoherent Mess
24 January 2015 | by (london) – See all my reviews

This film was released some years ago on a double bill DVD under its American title "Stick Em Up".The big problem is that this lasts just 52 minutes whereas it was originally released at 95 minutes. As the liner notes indicate it would appear that the Americans took out complete reels rather than spending money on editing it.As a result the storyline peters out after the first reel and only resumes properly in the last reel.In between we see Jewl and Warris in various routines in different places with no clue as to why they are doing what they are doing.Characters come and go mysteriously. So there is a total lack of continuity to this disjointed affair.Judging Jewel and Warris on this film one has to say that they are extremely unfunny. So it is little surprise that this was their second and last joint effort.
