This is the only record I can find of this made for TV comedy sketch / film from 1988. It has some hilarious scenes that I still use in conversation to this day. If anyone has any more info about it, I'd love to hear from you. All I can remember is that John Cleese plays the inept Neville Chamberlain being treated as an imbecile by the Germans and by the media at home, ridiculing our own pathetic politicians. Its a little like a Spinal Tap documentary. At the conclusion we see the edited highlights of Chamberlain's mission to have Hitler withdraw from Poland and his futile efforts to prevent War. He stands on top of the Aircraft staircase saying "I have in my hand a piece of.." the wind blows the paper away and he says "Sh*t!" - "I have in my hand a piece of Sh*t" - I laughed until I cried but you're a better man than I if you can find this on a DVD or whatever.
