Vatroslav Mimica (born 25 June 1923 in Omi) is an award-winning Croatian film director and screenwriter. He had his directorial and screen writing debut in the 1952 Yugoslav film In the Storm (Croatian: U oluji) which starred Mia Oremovic, Dragomir Felba and Antun Nalis.

Interesting melodrama with fine twists at the end.
It is worth to notice that this is the only acting role for Veljko Bulajic famous Yugoslavian director.
