Trivia:
The scenes in Edward's suite were filmed on location during a particularly hot August. The Gelfland costumes were mostly wool, and very thick. Because air conditioners create unwanted noise over dialogue, they were shut off. The room temperature often climbed past 105 degrees.

I rented this for the family (two boys 6 and 12, two girls, 8 and 10). Not only did the kids enjoy the movie, both my wife and myself loved it! We were pleasantly surprised... most the time, these type of made-for-video movies are a waste. But this one had a surprising amount of warmth, adventure, great characters, and even romance! Truly something for everybody. I you haven't seen it yet, go out and get it!
