best Moldavian movie
8 November 2005 | by (Republic of Moldova) – See all my reviews

for the first time i saw the movie two years ago, while being in visit to my friend from Romania, and was like..wow..the movie is so old, is about my country and my culture and i haven't seen it, from the first time i remained really impressed of what i've seen, of all the hidden themes, that can be understood only by Moldavian/Romanian people i gave 10 for this movie..and not because i am from Moldova, the same country Emil Loteanu is..just..it is one of the best movies i ever seen, this movie reminds Kusturica's time of the gypsies and black cat white cat, but much more dramatic, the realistic times of modern Moldova, with it's powerful culture and tradition and gray political situation, all this supplied by a marvelous and painful love story, good movie, recommend it to all of you
