Storyline

Lew Kelly is a walking cuckoo-clock who thinks he is a judge. Leon and Eddie are two drunks who think they are drivers. They crash together, and Lew gets trapped in the middle. Leon and Eddie finally come to terms and leave Lew amidst the wreckage. The next day, Leon answers a court summons, only to find that Lew is the presiding judge, after sneaking in and taking over the job as the regular judge is absent. Typical Leon Errol
19 August 2016 | by (Ramsey, NJ) – See all my reviews

Are you a Leon Errol fan? I am - he was one of the funniest men in Hollywood. Here he plays his specialty, a confused drunk (is there another kind?), aided and abetted by Eddie Kane, another long-time Hollywood comedian. It's vintage Errol, with his patented stagger and slurred speech.

The plot summary above gives you an idea, but you gotta see it, especially if you are a fan of his. It begins with a car crash between the two, with Kelly, untouched but stuck between cars. They are both drunk and struggle to understand each other, and Kelly is no help. It is a very funny, very forgotten RKO short, and that's a shame. It lacks votes and reviews and doesn't register yet in this website, but I saw it at Capitolfest, Rome N.Y., 8/16.
