Chris Casamassa, who portrays Takeda, the guard who is transformed into Scorpion, is actually the same actor/martial artist who portrays Scorpion in the film, Mortal Kombat (1995). Casamassa, a world class martial artist and 8th degree black belt, portrayed Scorpion once again in Mortal Kombat: Federation of Martial Arts (2000). Not typical for a girl (woman already) but Mortal Kombat is my all time favorite game franchise. I love original MK movie very much, the 2nd one was weaker but its fighting moments were even better than in the first MK movie. Finally, I watched this series and I was impressed. This PREQUEL was intriguing, catchy and entertaining. It was great to see some classic mk characters plus new ones - Siro, Taja, Vorpax. I still think that Ed Boon and his team should add Siro, Taja and Vorpax to the actual game as official fighters. Call me crazy but this is my point of view. Anyway, "Mortal Kombat: Conquest" was very cool Action/Adventure/Fantasy series with a very big potential. It should have lasted longer...
After this series I became a huge fan of Daniel Bernhardt, Kristanna Loken, Paolo Montalban and Tracy Douglas
