Storyline

A variation on "The Dating Game", this game show introduced a bachelor or bachelorette to three prospective dates, each of whom gave a self-introduction. The audience would select the partner they thought was the most compatible. If the guest agreed with the audience's selection, the show would pay for the couple's first date. Afterwards, the couple would return to the show to tell everyone whether it had been a dream date or a nightmare. Written by Jean-Marc Rocher <rocher@fiberbit.net>

No matter how hard we tried to hate it, we loved it!

This is yet another one of those shows I tried to dislike, but always found myself glued to the screen when it was on. (11 year run is pretty impressive) The dates ended with love at first sight or the chemistry between the two was like that of President Bush and Sadaam Hussein. And 20 years later Chuck Woolery still gets off saying "we will be back in two and two" (watch his game show Lingo for proof).
