The fine particulate matter produced by car exhaust . . .
pixrox123 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
. . . and other human sources of pollution form cloud condensation nuclei, as depicted throughout SPRINKLE ME PINK. Environmental depredation is likely to evoke the sort of kinetic karma which will single out particularly flagrant atmospheric abusers such as the chain-smoking Pink Panther for their "own private thundercloud" sort of treatment illustrated during SPRINKLE ME PINK. The phrase "acid rain" was first used by Scottish chemist Robert Angus Smith on April 15, 1852. It refers to precipitation which seems to be a hallucination from a particularly bad L. S. D. Trip. As noted toward the end of SPRINKLE ME PINK, psychiatrists and meteorologists are still arguing over whether such a thing actually exists. Stay tuned.

My First Pink Panter cartoon
ultramatt2000-125 March 2009
I remember seeing this on KBHK TV 44 San Francisco. I saw this right after Sesame Street (the channel was changed). I was like three or four when I first saw this one, and it was hilarious. The Pink Panther is having a picnic, but the a cloud starts to annoy him. And every time the Pink Panther tries to eat in peace, the cloud bothers him. After too many attempts to stop it, he finally has a good day, but if he messes with one cloud, he has to mess with a whole lot of clouds. I like how the music goes with the action, sort of like in Mickey Mouse, and how the fact that the cloud has an independent mind of it's own. And since when does that happen which makes me say WTF? It's like as if he had a family.

Super funny, I highly recommend it. It's Rated G so it is appropriate for anyone.

Among the best of the later Pink Panther cartoons
TheLittleSongbird21 November 2014
The Pink Panther cartoons are on the most part good entertainment, not always consistent(the 1969 and 1971 batch were pretty much so though with one exception), then again what cartoon series is? The cartoons after 1975 were hit and miss in quality, fortunately for Sprinkle Me Pink it is one of the hits. Apart from the odd scrappily animated background(especially the one 4 minutes into the cartoon), Sprinkle Me Pink is among the best of the later Pink Panther cartoons. Most of the animation is fine, the colours are very vibrant and colourful and Pinky and the cloud are very well-drawn. The music is terrific here, it bursts with energy while in places also reminiscent of the older Pink Panther cartoons, of all the post-1975 Pink Panther cartoons Sprinkle Me Pink is one of the better ones in terms of the music score adding so much to the action. The theme tune is still catchy and deserving of its classic status, no matter how many times I've heard it it's still not annoying. Sprinkle Me Pink is swiftly paced with the story while a little standard(again then again not unusual for a Pink Panther cartoon) always interesting and eventful. Sprinkle Me Pink is also one of the funniest later Pink Panther cartoons, the gags are all funny and feel fresh rather than repetitive. Pinky is immensely likable and cool, you also feel very sympathetic towards him in his increasing irritation, while the cloud has a great personality and matches him in comic timing, really loved the lengths it went through to continually get him wet. Overall, a great cartoon and one of the best and most entertaining later Pink Panther cartoon. 9/10 Bethany Cox

Another imaginative Pink Panther cartoon.
OllieSuave-00726 August 2016
The Pink Panther attempts to have a picnic on a bright, sunny day. However, suddenly, a rain cloud appears above him and rains on him. Everywhere he goes, the rain cloud mysteriously follows him, even going as far as inside the panther's house. Only in a cartoon as imaginative as this would a rain cloud pursue you at every corner.

It's another Pink Panther that would give you some chuckles here and there and one that would definitely let your imagination run wild. It's pretty entertaining seeing the panther deal with the rainy weather, and how the ending would surprise you a little.

Grade B
