The story follows the prince and the pauper legend, with fairly believable actors. It is a delightful romp of accidents, mistakes and otherwise familiar visual jokes that kids pre-teen will love. It has heart.

This one was just a total crash from start to finish. Disney must not be trying anymore. This dog Liberty is the exact opposite of what our forefathers fought for over 200 years ago. The dog expects to be treated like royalty. Our great nation has been free from royal rule for 224 years thank you very much! Why doesn't Disney just have Liberty piddle on the Bill of Rights & call it entertainment? It would have fit in with the characters & plot.
A very funny retelling of the classic Prince And The Pauper tale.

My family and I loved this version of the classic Prince And The Pauper tale. This made for television movie by Disney/ABC is funny and has plenty of heart. Plus Fred Willard as the President and George Wendt from Cheers as a dog catcher are great. It seems like the budget must have been pretty small as they did't spring for the animated talking animal mouths like in Babe and Stuart Little. But that aside, the animal characters were so funny that it really didn't matter. Plus they do some really cool things...including parachuting.
