If you want to know what a schoolteacher's life in France is......
...this is exactly the kind of series you MUST avoid at any cost!Politically correct to a fault ,full of clichés ,it is the definitive proof that good (and commercial) intentions do not make good works.
"L'instit" (the schoolteacher) portrayed by Gerard Klein (with a big smug smile)is a character of pure fiction.A Knight Rider 2000 for students ,he always arrives on his motorbike, and you are sure he will solve all the problems around and maybe more.
Now ,if you want to know what a schoolteacher's life is in France,I would recommend "Ca commence aujourd'hui" by the great Bertrand Tavernier and "être et avoir" Schoolteacher's honor!
