Two very different movies from the crazies at Troma Studios will screen Friday night March 16th at The Way Out Club as part of our third monthly Troma Night At The Way Out Club. We’ve decided to move it back to Friday night and we’ve got a great Free double feature.

First up this month is Lollilove, a riotous 2004 mock documentary about charity and the homeless directed by and starring St. Louis’ own Jenna Fischer (from The Office) and produced by and costarring her then-husband and fellow St. Louisan James Gunn. Fisher and Gunn play well-meaning Hollywood rich kids who decide to prop up the homeless by handing hobos and drunken derelicts lollypops. Today, co-directors John Skipp and Andrew Kasch announced their full-time filmmaking partnership with a 15-second trailer for the short Bizarro horror/comedy Stay At Home Dad. With both screenplay and soundtrack by Cody Goodfellow, the insane premise “starts with a guy with giant boobs, nursing his baby and crying a lot. Then it gets weird from there.”
