Design and Building of the Boeing 777
21 February 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

For commercial airplane enthusiasts possibly the most complete documentary available on the conception, design, construction, testing, certification, and entry into service of any civilian aircraft ever built. You are taken inside the walls of the Boeing Company and observe the painstaking process of the development of a totally new commercial jetliner, from the original hand written "working together" agreement with United Airlines in 1990 to the testing and FAA certification process. The first "paperless" manufactured commercial jetliner using the CATIA computer design technique is revolutionary in its seeking of 180 minute ETOPS from the first day of commencement of carrying paying passengers.
