He investigates the murder of an old army buddy of his which leads him to a mysterious femme fatal, named Angelica. She draws him into a world of surreal weirdness while helping him look for his friend's killers. In so doing Father William stumbles upon a huge conspiracy to use his church as a central point for a variety of crimes. The crime trail leads from a corrupt local sheriff to the shady archbishop who is not who he appears to be. Written by matt-282

Not bad for a first effort
26 January 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I actually saw this before it was entirely finished, since I was friends with the director, William, at the time. Parts were a little slow, and the person cast as the "romantic lead" was way too young for the part, but altogether it wasn't a bad first effort. My major complaints were that the plot wasn't terribly believable and the "aging" on the lead was just silver hair spray. There was an interesting twist at the end, though, when you find out who the bad guy really is. I think that was my favorite part in the movie. Of course, it was the END (and if William ever reads this, he will probably never forgive me!)!
