TV Resolutions for 2011

10 January 2011 10:34 AM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

We’re now about a week into the second half of the 2010-11 TV season. A few new shows have already premiered, a bachelor has gotten slapped, and there’s been more snow than I would particularly care for. While I have a few general resolutions that I’m applying to my life away from the computer (if there is such a thing), there are a few things I’d like to do to better my year in TV.

1. Give more shows a second chance

One of my main problems is that when I drop a show, it’s permanently dropped and I never really go back to it. In 2011, I’d like to revisit a few of the shows that I’ve left behind to see where things are and if there have been enough improvements for me to be able to stick around this time.

First Look At Spielberg’s Time Travel Series “Terra Nova”

6 January 2011 12:39 PM, PST | SoundOnSight | See recent SoundOnSight news »

Some will remember when the Comic-Con panel for Steven Spielberg’s Terra Nova was cancelled last summer, leaving fanboys yearning for a first look. Well now we have it. Fox has released the first photos from the Spielberg-produced sci-fi / time travel television series.

The series focusses on a 22ns-century family who are sent back in time 150 million years to the prehistoric age, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. The series was written by Craig Silverstein and Kelly Marcel, based on Marcel’s story idea. The series has been given a 13-episode run, with the pilot directed by Alex Graves, who was responsible for the pilots of The Whole Truth, Fringe and Journeyman, as well as directing episodes of Sports Night, The Practice, The West Wing and The Nine. Terra Nova is set to have a sneak preview in May followed by the official series premiere later this fall. All four new photos courtesy of Spoiler TV. »
