Absurd but fascinating early heroic martial arts movie (Wu Xia).

Absurd but fascinating early heroic martial arts movie (Wu Xia). Quite similar to much superior "Dragon Inn" (Longmen Kezhan). Shows you where 'Crouching Tiger' is coming from. Features early special effects which will make you laugh but are its thematic precursers. The opening titles are wonderful and demonstrate a level of artistry that only intermittently appears in the rest of the film.
