I loved it..., 17 February 2001
Author: Cheryl Jovel (blindbiz@aol.com) from Florida

An exciting, mysterious and surprising adventure. Minnie Driver is a wonderful actor as Trini, a woman determined to fulfill the destiny of her family...to find the treasure of diamonds hidden by her grandmother in the desert. Great acting, delightful...James Spader is convincing as a crude but ultimately goodhearted convict. Josh Brolin is perfect as a slightly dim but sweet escaped convict accompanying Spader. Good plot twists, beautiful scenery, superb actors. A great way to spend an evening...
