Alright, let's make one thing perfectly clear. Dragon Lee is pretty much a second rate copy of Bruce Li who was a second rate copy of Bruce Lee himself. For those of you don't know what's up with all the Lees and Lis, after Bruce Lee died the Hong Kong film industry, not wanting to lose their biggest international star at the peak of his career began to have other actors take stage names similar to Bruce Lee (Bruce Lie, Bruce Lei and Lee Bruce are others) in hopes of making a quick buck and thus the "brucesploitation" genre was born. Yeah, this genre isn't known for good taste. Anyway, "Dragon Lee vs. the Five Brothers" is an alright entry in this genre.

There are a few things I enjoy about this film. For one thing, it's insanely cheesy with lots of elements fans of bad Kung Fu films are sure to dig like bad dialogue and dubbing. It also has some cool fight scenes and some neat camera effects. Still, it suffers from a few less than desirable elements that render this film merely average. For one thing, the acting and the script are both pretty poor and the plot is extremely typical. A few of the fight scenes also go on a bit too long. It's not a terrible film by any means, but there are better entries in the genre.
