Songs of Praise has been screened at teatime on Sundays for very many years on either BBC1 or sometimes BBC2.
Each week, a city, town or village is featured and a service held in one of the churches there. In between the hymn singing, prayers and sermons, the place is explored and we get to meet some of the local people who live there. This is sometimes quite educational and interesting.
Songs of Praise has had many different presenters over the years including Cliff Richard, Toyah Wilcox and the late Harry Secombe.
I have occasionally watched this and still do at times. Songs of Praise is much better than the stuff that is screened on Sunday mornings.
