Storyline

Based off of the popular video game, Megaman. In the year 200X, robot scientists Dr. Thomas Light and Dr. Albert Wily were completing their special project, helper robots, which will help humans with everyday work. However, Dr. Wily had secretly reprogrammed the helper robots into fighting machines. Wily intends to use these robots to take over the world. After Dr. Light learned of this, he had decided to reprogram one of his other helper robots. He has chosen Rock (his male helper robot). Dr. Light gave Rock state-of-the-art combat technology, with the ability to copy another robot's weapon, thus Dr. light created Megaman. Now, Megaman has to stop Dr. Wily and his band of robots from taking over the world. Written by John Wiggins

Crazy Credits

When the episodes first aired, the Summit Media Group logo that appeared at the end of the credits was against a plain, off-white background. The repeats that aired some years later used a more elaborate, blue-background logo. When released on DVD, they went back to using the original off-white background logo. See more »

UGH!!!
14 December 2000 | by See all my reviews

This is the worst videogame show ever! The cartoon didn't do anything right like the game. Mega Man and robots have muscles and they don't look like robots, not like the game. Roll suppose to be a housekeeper, not a sidekick of Mega Man! Dr. Light doesn't look smart. Protoman is not suppose to be bad, it seems like he wants to be on his own. Dr. Wily looks absolutely UGLY! If you watch the first episode, you will laugh what Mega Man is saying when Dr. Light created him! Don't watch this WASTE-OF-TIME show, play the game instead.
