Storyline

Based off of the popular video game, Megaman. In the year 200X, robot scientists Dr. Thomas Light and Dr. Albert Wily were completing their special project, helper robots, which will help humans with everyday work. However, Dr. Wily had secretly reprogrammed the helper robots into fighting machines. Wily intends to use these robots to take over the world. After Dr. Light learned of this, he had decided to reprogram one of his other helper robots. He has chosen Rock (his male helper robot). Dr. Light gave Rock state-of-the-art combat technology, with the ability to copy another robot's weapon, thus Dr. light created Megaman. Now, Megaman has to stop Dr. Wily and his band of robots from taking over the world. Written by John Wiggins

Trivia

Despite the show premiering a year after the release of Mega Man 6 on the NES, no robot leaders from that game ever appeared on the show. The show only used robots from the games 1-5. See more »

Goofs

There are numerous appearance/attack/ability errors with the Robot Masters. For instance, Mega Man is able to get a helicopter blade from Gyro Man to make himself fly, which is impossible in the games. See more »

Crazy Credits

In the first season, an instrumental version of the title theme music played over the end credits. In the second season, generic modern rock songs (which have no connection to the show whatsoever) played over the credits. These second season songs were later released on a soundtrack CD (even though the songs had nothing to do with Mega Man apart from being played over the show's credits.) See more »

why megaman is fantastic
11 April 2010 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Loads of people say it not like the games so what they have mussels and protoman is a bad guy if you have it like the game it would have died after 6 episodes. I was 34 days old when it was cancelled so i may of watched i cant remember i just seen some episodes lately and i played most of the megaman and megaman x games.

People say about protoman being a bad guy when i played megaman 3 i was thinking not another bad guy until later some one told me he was good but the evil brother does suit him. He is just one nasty robot who wants to destroy his little brother which is good for having that balance of power during there fights.

Also roll megaman's sister people say she is a house cleaning robot not megaman side kick so what you need someone to help you megaman only has rush his dog so i think its good having roll as his side kick he gets female interest.

The only down side is some characters from the game where not included like bass and treble, Gemini man and when they had megaman x in one episode they at least should of had zero and sigma on vile and spark mandrill side and on the other megaman, megaman x and zero.

So if you want to see megaman you can watch the episodes on youtube and if you like that you can buy it on DVD.
