When the Littles go to an orphanage to adopt a new family member, their son, George, insists on a little brother as opposed to a big one. His request is honored more literally than he ever imagined when a charming young mouse named Stuart is chosen. While George is disappointed and initially unwelcoming to his new brother, the family cat, Snowbell, is even less enthusiastic at the prospect of having a mouse as his "master" and plots to get rid of him. Against these difficulties, Stuart resolves to face them with as much pluck, love and courage as he can muster. In doing so, he shows his beloved new family that great things can truly come in small packages. Written by

No front load washing machine would fill in the manner depicted. First, the water level would never be as high as it is shown, especially with such a small load. The washer would be partially full. Second, the water spigot would not be in the rear of the machine, let alone mounted on the drum. It would be either above the door or in the area around the drum, but not mounted on it. Third, once started, the machine would most likely tumble while filling, or at least do some tumbling before "deciding" on a load size (and thus, "deciding" on how much to fill, how much time it will take, etc.). This machine appears to behave more like a top loader, in that it fills completely and then washes. See more »
I didn't want to see this movie. Oh no, it looked to cute for me. But one day I turned on HBO and heard that voice. That voice would be Michael J. Fox's voice. He does the voice of little Stuart Little. This made me start watching. So anyway, not only does Michael J. Fox do an excellent job with the voice of Stuart, but Jonathan Lipniki who plays George Little is one of the best child actors, and this shows in Stuart Little. Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie also do a great job playing parents Eleanor and Frederick. This is a must see family film. I promise you will find something about it you like. I didn't think I'd enjoy it, but I'm already ready for Stuart Little 2.
