Trivia

Creature Effects Supervisor Tom Woodruff, Jr. played the gorilla Isabel, similar to the alien roles he played in the movies Aliens (1986), Alien³ (1992), and Alien Resurrection (1997). To obtain a picture in the heat-sensitive infrared light, crew members warmed up the fur of the gorilla suit with hair dryers. See more »

Goofs

When Sebastian is injecting himself with the serum, air bubbles are clearly visible in various shots. Anyone who knows how to administer an injection would try to get as much air as possible out of the liquid before injecting it. See more »

One of the best movie's I have seen this summer.
8 October 2000 | by (Pennsylvania) – See all my reviews

Truthfully, I have no idea what a lot of you people are saying when you say how terrible this movie is. The special effects are excellent, Elisabeth Shue has given one of her best performances in a long time, and Kevin Bacon also gave a very solid performance. I know many of you thought that the 3rd act took a bloody turn and it did, but to me, I didn't think it was that bad, I kind of thought it made the movie. Look at the movie's today that are making money, Scream 1,2, & 3, Urban Legend 2....all blood and guts with a moderately good plot. This movie just did what sells. And come on, it could be a lot worse. In my opinion, this is one of the best scary horror/thriller/action/man turned monster movies I had seen in a long while and after all, the movie can't be too terrible because the film has grossed so much. So PLEASE, GO SEE THIS MOVIE! It is truly a good film for many of us horror/thriller movie fans. 10/10
