One of Georges Lautner's rarest film.

Warning: Spoilers
Believe it or not, but I am french and I only got it from the USA, and dubbed, of course. Unfortunately, the copy seemed not to be totally complete. It seemed that some sequences missed. But I'll watch on french movie channels if it is aired, to get it straight, or through a DVD release. It's a french flick, after all.

Well, this movie hesitates between comedy, adventure and crime. It takes place on the french Riviera, in Nice, and Felix Marten is the lead, a private eye, who is in charge to seek a missing gal, and who finally has to get his best friend's murderer. A fairly good atmosphere - sixties one - especially for those like me who love the south of France one. There were so many features - thrillers, comedies - that took place in these places.

It's not the best Lautner's film, I warn you. Francis Blanche is exquisite in this flick. A not too serious one, I remind the potential audiences. If you get the luck to get it.
