Storyline

Widely considered to be one of the most controversial TV documentary specials ever aired in Prime Time, this famous FOX Network program stirred the "liveliest debate of any home movie since the Zapruder Film," according to Time Magazine. The "home movie" was actually purported to be the actual dissection of an alien being, supposedly recovered and analyzed by the U.S. military near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Written by Anonymous

compelling and chilling(whether it's a hoax or not)

on this version of the documentary, the original 23 minute autopsy film is included directly after the documentary itself.as for the documentary,i thought it was well made, and well researched.apparently, after doing a little research into the actual autopsy film,it has been discovered to be a hoax, including a confession by the man who originally sold the story to the network for the documentary.but i can't help but wonder if he had been pressured by certain agencies to confess it was a hoax, even if it wasn't.i also noticed comments from people on this site and others, declaring that the quality of the film is too poor for what the government would have used, and that the autopsy itself is so obviously fake.most of these people don't really offer any explanation for their opinion, and ridicule people who think the film might be real, some even calling them morons.so i'm not sure how much credence should be lent to those views.plus, there were some pretty credible people(including experts in their respective fields)interviewed in the documentary, who believe the autopsy footage is either real,or an amazing, well done hoax.my own personal opinion is that i am not convinced either way.regardless,i found the movie compelling and chilling.for me,Alien Autopsy is a 9/10
