Trivia:
Some seasons of Top Gear have an epic race in which Jeremy will drive a car against James and Richard taking public transport or any other transport that is not a car. Here are some of the epic races they had. Season 4: Race to Monte Carlo: Aston Martin DB9 VS. train, Season 5: Race to Verbier, Switzerland: Ferrari 612 Scaglietti VS. plane. Season 6: Race to Oslo, Norway: Mercedes-Benz SLR McClaren VS. boat. Season 7: Race from Italy to England: Buggati Veyron VS. James' plane. Season 11: Race across Japan: Nissan GT-R VS. Japan's most reliable public transport. moreQuotes:
Jeremy Clarkson: That Zonda, really! It's like a lion in orange dungarees. Kind of fierce, but ridiculous all at the same time. moreSoundtrack:

Top Gear is unlike any of the car shows produced in the U.S. It is, to use a term popular on the other side of the pond, brilliant. The hosts display personalities, wit, and charm. Along with the facts and numbers the souls of the cars are revealed. Any car. We aren't subjected to just the latest and greatest, but, also the common; just seen through the eyes of those who enjoy cars. Top Gear is like sitting around with your buddies and talking cars and having a good laugh all the while. It was good to have a car show that's intelligent and witty. It's a shame the Discovery Channel no longer has room in it's schedule for a show that's fun to watch.
