I've just watched this episode on YouTube and it was excellent - being based on a story by Isaac Asimov and featuring the laws of Robotics. By all accounts it's the only surviving record of the series - what a pity because just the titles of each episode listed here invoke excitement.
This really was the UK's answer to the Twilight Zone and there is also and writing and Producer connection with 'Out of the Unknown' screened on BBC2 3 years later.
By the way if any 'Out of the Unknown' fans are reading this then check out user PAM1927 as She has many of the surviving episodes uploaded.
We don't seem to be making any series like these ones anymore that are based on famous Sci Fi writers novels or short stories. It's a shame because there are many that could be filmed which are of the highest quality.
