• Don Davis, the music composer for the film, stated that roughly 20 seconds of footage was cut from the battle between the T-Rex and Spinosaurus. This was mostly made up of the two animals roaring at each other and sizing one another up.
  
  
• After the brief encounter with the ceratosaurus, which turns its nose up at the humans and decides not to attack them, Paul Kirby (William H. Macy) says "Can't help but feel a little offended."
