Poorly done gambling pic
lor_4 March 2024
"Comeline" refers to the betting area on a craps table, but this gambling story does not feature craps at all. It might have gone somewhere with a workable script, but producer-director-writer Paul Norman was asleep at the wheel.

Opening set-up has Steve Drake and Debi Diamond new in town, ready to get married. After they have sex on a couch Steve rushes off to gamble, though Debi wants to get hitched right away. She talks him into taking her with him to a private casino run by bad guy Zack Thomas.

He said he wanted to play poker, but instead plays blackjack, and Zack has his dealer Nikki Shane cheat Steve with a loaded deck. He ends up signing IOU markers for $38,000 and is dragged qway by thugs 'cause he can't come up with the dough. Debi, in a phony plot twist poorly handled, decides to defray the debt on the spot by humping Zack in public right there on the comeline of the craps table in front of everybody.

The rest of the video even more nonsensical, as Drake conspires with Nikki to get back at Zack, and Nikki hooks up with two creeps (Nick East and Kris Newz) to get back at Zack (her boyfriend) herself. This makes no sense.

Ending is even dumber: after hours Drake chats with the bartender, redhead Traci Prince, and humps her on the roulette table. The markers he signed just happen to be lying there after they're done and Traci tears them up, ending Steve's debts. It looks like his marriage to Debi has been abandoned.

Several porn faces are visible among the extras hanging around on the chintzy casino set, notably Jonathan Morgan as the roulette croupier.
