Though it received only a very lukewarm reception on its initial release,this first part of Vivid's witchcraft saga turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Maybe it was the thrill of seeing the since deceased Lynn once more or the fact that,this early in her career,no efforts were made to convince fans that gorgeous blonde Janine was going anywhere near a naked man,hence no blow to those same fans' intelligence. The plot's a bit of nonsense about a witches' coven headed by everyone's favorite lesbian amazon who try to lure Lynn into their lair. The mood is sensuous with ambient music and lots of outdoor sex scenes featuring very pretty people,a surefire recipe.
